Microsoft just gave buyers a reason to avoid the Surface Duo

When Microsoft announced the existence of a surface duo supported by Android and its surface that pulled the net back in 2019, there was a lot of excitement over two unique designs and propositions. They finally made the dream courier concept into reality, or really hope. In fact, unfortunately, not that type, and the Neo surface is practically canceled. While the current surface duo in the iterations of both, Microsoft assigns a statement about the delayed update may provide prospective buyers about this special product line.

Both surface duos and neo surfaces embody Microsoft’s vision for future productivity. Two screens make multi-tasking no-brainers, and the surface duo will be a cellular friend for the Neo surface. Unlike the Windows Dual-Screen PC, the surface duo managed to launch after several delays. Acceptance, however, has been mixed.

For the price, the first surface duo felt almost like an expensive prototype. While the hardware is beautiful, it falls short of several things, like 5G or more important support, the camera. The surface of the duo 2 improves on them but adds some of its own complications. For example, you can no longer fold the device completely because of Bump Cameras.

The surface duo was launched on September 2020 and Ran Android 10 of 2019. Given the time, it was rather understandable, but not too delayed. Microsoft promises a double screen device will get Android 11 before the year ends, but it won’t happen, obviously. For its part, Windows maker blames Google’s feet.

According to Onmsft, Microsoft allegedly said already has an update tested by his internal team and is ready to be launched. Google, however, requires a device sent with the Google Play Store to undergo a certification test before pushing large updates. Because the two companies are on vacation, it will not be possible before the end of 2021.
